Our Process
1. Preparation & Skin Assessment
To get the best results from your spray tan, exfoliate your skin 24 hours before your appointment, especially around dry areas like elbows, knees, and ankles. If you plan to shave, please do so at least 24 hours before your tan to avoid irritation and ensure an even application. On the day of your appointment, avoid applying lotion, deodorant, makeup, or perfume, as these can create barriers on the skin. Wear loose, dark clothing and open-toed shoes to prevent smudging while your tan develops. No time to exfoliate-no problem! We offer exfoliation mitts for your convenience.
2. Customized Spray Application
When you arrive, you’ll step into our private tanning room where our expert technician will evenly apply the custom spray tan solution, designed to give you a natural, radiant glow. After the spray application, a special drying powder is gently brushed onto your skin to speed up the drying process and ensure a flawless, streak-free finish. You’ll spend just a few minutes getting “powdered” before you’re ready to dress and head out, feeling confident your tan will develop beautifully over the next 24 hours.
3. Post-Tan Care
After your spray tan, avoid showering, sweating, or getting wet for at least 8 to 12 hours (1 to 3 hours if a rapid solution was applied) to allow the tan to fully develop. When you do shower, use warm water without soap or exfoliants for the first rinse to preserve your glow. Be sure to moisturize daily to keep your skin hydrated and help your tan fade evenly. Wearing loose, dark clothing during the development time will help prevent any transfer or streaking. With proper care, your tan can last 7 to 10 days, gradually fading as your skin naturally exfoliates.
